Following her appointment as Creative Director of Nicole Farhi in September 2012, Joanna Sykes presents a debut collection of timeless, investment pieces. Craftsmanship is a key focus and manufacture of her product has moved back to Italy, with men's tailoring, shirts and outerwear exclusively Italian.
Outerwear includes all the icons, each with their own distinguishing features; double face construction, giant proportion in textured overcoats, cosy shearling linings and tough leather details, inked in mahogany.
Tailoring takes the form of relaxed separates made in jersey, a material synonymous with Nicole Farhi's heritage and combines the comfort of a stretch fabric with sartorial elegance.
Shirts are adventurous and individual, in hand painted prints inspired by traditional stripe and herringbone patterns, or simple, crisp, classics, characterized by superior quality.
Knits are a mass of rich textures; giant intarsia tweed , waffle, rib, chunky cables and graphic patchwork.
The palette has a soft tonality, monochrome tweeds, navy and charcoal melange, winter whites, warm stone, deep oxblood and spruce green.
