CIRCUS Galore at TSUM MOSCOW

Hypnotising sssssssserpents, bunnies coming out of hats, leaking out of water tabs and half-striped zebras were all booked for the incredible visual show, that TSUM has prepared for their FW 13/14 window displays.

May it be just coincidental that the magnificent Cirque du Soleil are currently showing their latest "KOOZA" performance at the Luzhniki Stadium, or not, either way, no matter where the inspiration came from, for this season's window design and theme, the outcoming result was spectacular. The lovely props and surprisingly humorous displays are just a spot of colour in this grey city, that is preparing its hibernation for the upcoming cold season.

Sou Fujimoto at the Serpentine Gallery

I was on my way to the Club to Catwalk exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum when I bumped into the most amazing site at the Serpentine Gallery, (entrance from the Exhibition Road, that goes straight through Hyde Park). Architecture and design statement, the Suo Fujimoto pavilion, something that although appeared to be out-of-this-world, somehow merged in with the scenery perfectly.

This beautiful white metal structure completely caught my eye and left me mesmerised for what I think were more than 2 hours of simply exploring it with my eyes and legs (yes I had to climb on top of it, following health and safety regulations of course). The structure will be open to the public until the 20th of October and I highly recommend you paying a visit, if in the area. May I also add the fact that Fortnum and Mason have opened a small coffee-shop inside, with nice pastries, handmade sandwiches and everything you could wish for, for spending time inside the pavilion in the most pleasurable way possible. If in doubt, kids (and some grown-ups) will be kept busy escalating the installation.
