JASPER GARVIDA SS13 - LFW

Jasper Garvida presented his Spring-Summer 2013 collection on the second day of London Fashion Week at the Bloomsbury Hotel. 'The unity of time and space', as he entitled his latest collection was inspired by the unique style icon Mary Quant and the fashion of the 60's. Through geometric patterns, strong shapes and architectural forms, Garvida tried to focus on the modern, empowering and revolutionary woman.

The colour palette used in the collection is primarily based on black and white and some shades of grey, with very elegant and subtle details on garments consisting of black and silver sequins. 'L'unite de Temps et L'Espace experiments with distinctions, the juxtaposition between light and shade, bold and subtle and the geometric patterns complementing structured tailoring' (Show Press Release)

To return the attention back to the delicate feminine silhouette, the collection has a few pieces in creme/beige tones with lace and sheer white fabric. The elegant collection is combined and styled with perfectly matching jewellery (Sarah Angold) and footwear (Kat Maconie), with whom I absolutely fell in love with!
