Farfetch.com and the London-based luxury lifestyle boutique Wolf & Badger have joined forces and organized a great competition in search of new talent. This was announced officially on their Facebook Pages at the beginning of June. With the London 2012 Olympic Games approaching, the boutique offered to reward the best window design with the opportunity to install and dress their window at the new establishment on Dover Street.
On 16th of June, amongst the three selected window design moodboards I had the pleasant surprise that mine was favored and also voted by the Farfetch.com Facebook fans. The creativity challenge didn't stop here, as the budget allocated for the window installation was 200 £. Farfetch.com's VM team sourced the materials and decided to follow my design concept, building the bird cages out of hula hoops and ribbons.
So finally on Wednesday , the 4th of July, I was invited to attend the installation and meet the team behind this amazing competition. Loading up on coffee and chit-chatting about the project , my day at the Wolf & Badger was perfect. The process can be seen in pictures, from the moodboard onto the installation and the final result.
I would like to thank the wonderful PR and Social-Media girls from farfetch.com Emma Copeland and Becky Bruton and the wonderful team at Wolf & Badger and co-owner Henry for making me feel welcome and giving me this great opportunity!
