Structure versus fluidity and industrial versus natural - the Sass and Bide AW13 collection was a monochromatic design poem filled with anatagonistic elements.
Precise tailoring was complemented by flowing, undulating fabric and everything seemed to form perfect feminine, structured silhouettes. Not only did this collection excel as a whole , but detailing was close to perfection as well. Metal trims and embellishments , textured decoupages and three-dimensional knits were only a few of the mesmerizing finishing touches of this show.
So if these phew phrases aren't enough to keep you going, you need to see the end picture of the show, that probably marked the fluffiest moment of London Fashion Week, the two designers (Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton) hugged by what I am assuming are their own little girls. (CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!!!)
