This show was a reason for me to get really excited. I was familiar with Timur Kim's Fall 2012 collection from his CSM MA show, so I couldn't wait to see what he had up his sleeve for the upcoming season.
To get more in tune with his style, the first six pieces were presented like an introduction into what he already is known for : use of denim in different shapes, resulting in a collage of material , cut and designed to perfectly flow on the body. Dresses, shirts, trousers and skirts were the result of stripes of denim fabric put together, demonstrating ingenious patchwork.
The show continued in a more airy and light note with silky materials, maxi dresses and a very relaxed elegance was captured with the next pieces that hit the catwalk.
White lace details and beautifully delicate flower prints completed the collection of Timur Kim's spring-summer vision.
